About the building
Pinnacle Apartment Homes (also known as Langford Tower) is a modern 6-storey condominium building located in the heart of downtown Langford. Completed in 2020 by Western Canadian Properties Group, the building features 123 units known for their impressive ceiling heights—ranging from 9 feet to soaring 13-foot vaults on the top floor. Residents enjoy convenient amenities such as secure underground parking, a pet-friendly policy, and a landscaped central courtyard, all just steps from the shops at Westshore Town Centre.
Pinnacle and Langford Tower are two names for the same development, which is why both pages carry the same facts: Western Canadian Properties Group built two six-storey wood-frame towers of 78 and 45 homes, designed by Lovick Scott Architects, over one shared parkade of about 137 stalls, with addresses appearing as both 2843 Jacklin Road and 868 Orono Avenue. Launch prices ran from $284,900 to $464,900 across one-bedroom, two-bedroom and two-bedroom-and-den plans of about 550 to 910 square feet, and the project sold out.
Suites have in-suite laundry and storage, heat pumps with cooled common areas, centralized hot water, keyless entry and sprinklers; some ground-floor homes have oversized accessible parking stalls. Strata fees run from about $320 on a one-bedroom to $430 a month on a two-bedroom, and pet rules should be confirmed with the strata. The courtyard sits between the two buildings, and Westshore Town Centre, Langford Lake and the bus exchange are each a few minutes on foot.
About Langford Proper
Langford Proper is the MLS name for the centre of the City of Langford: the Goldstream Avenue strip, Station Avenue, Claude Road and the blocks around Veterans Memorial Park and Langford Lake. Langford incorporated in 1992, became a city in 2003 and was the fastest-growing community in British Columbia at the 2021 census, and its downtown is the newest high-density core in Greater Victoria. Almost all of the housing here is condominium, apartment or townhome stock built since the early 2000s, with towers of 18 storeys and more now proposed around Peatt Road and Goldstream Avenue.
The neighbourhood is unusually well served for its size. Langford Lake and the Ed Nixon Trail sit a few blocks from the shops, the YMCA-YWCA aquatic centre and library opened in 2016, and City Centre Park, Eagle Ridge Community Centre and Starlight Stadium, home to Pacific FC and Rugby Canada, are at the west end of the core. Westshore Town Centre and the Millstream big-box stores handle most errands. Belmont Secondary is on the lake. Langford Exchange is the West Shore transit hub, and the Route 95 RapidBus runs from there to the Legislature about every fifteen minutes; the Galloping Goose crosses the city, and the drive downtown is about twenty minutes outside rush hour.
