About the building

Aura Residences is a 4-storey condominium in Sidney, BC, offering spacious two- and three-bedroom homes just steps from the ocean. With secured underground parking, bike storage, and modern, accessible design, residents enjoy a vibrant coastal lifestyle near shopping, dining, and local amenities.

Aura Residences was built by Homewood Constructors, a Victoria builder with roughly four decades of local projects, and designed by de Hoog & Kierulf Architects; several sources date completion to 2022. The wood-frame building replaced Argyl Manor, a 1970s rental block, and holds 34 homes with one-, two- and three-bedroom plans. One-bedrooms run about 680 square feet and two-bedrooms around 1,050 to 1,080, with nine-foot ceilings, oak hardwood, quartz counters, Bosch appliances, gas fireplaces and on-demand hot water.

Secured underground parking, storage, bike storage, fob entry, sprinklers and an elevator are standard. Bylaws reported at completion allow up to two pets with no size limit, long-term rentals and no age restriction; confirm the current rules with the strata. Beacon Avenue, the waterfront walkway and Sidney's shops are two minutes on foot, and the Swartz Bay ferry is about 15 minutes by car.
