Element Beachside Residences is a 3-storey, wood-frame condominium development located in Cadboro Bay, completed in 2016. The building offers 14 residential units with a ground floor commercial component (two commercial units). The design emphasizes West Coast aesthetics, with warm wood, stone and glass accents. It features one- and two-bedroom residences (some with dens), storage lockers, surface parking, and is fully sold out (resales only).
Element Beachside Residences was developed and built by Abstract Developments with interiors by Nygaard Interior Design, and it is registered as strata plan VIP8197 at the corner of Penrhyn Street and Cadboro Bay Road. The three-storey wood-frame building launched from about $370,000, with natural stone, cedar shakes and glass on the exterior, nine- to ten-foot ceilings, skylights in the third-floor homes, patios with gas and water hookups, and Built Green Gold certification; each home has one surface stall.
A 965-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite carried a strata fee of about $700 a month, with electric baseboard heat, an electric fireplace, in-suite laundry and a locker, and pets are welcome. Gyro Beach is a three-minute walk.
