About the building
Trailside at the Lake is a modern condominium development situated at the northwest corner of Langford Lake in Langford, BC. Completed in 2023, the development comprises two six-storey woodframe buildings with a total of 124 units. The residences offer one- and two-bedroom layouts, many featuring views of the lake and surrounding parkland. Residents enjoy proximity to outdoor trails, recreational facilities, and local amenities.
Trailside at the Lake was developed by Keycorp Development & Marketing with Seacliff Properties at 1361 to 1371 Goldstream Avenue, at the northwest corner of Langford Lake beside Goldstream Meadows Park. The two buildings are named The Nixon and The Henson; construction began in 2022, the Nixon was about three-quarters sold and occupied by late 2023, and the project completed in 2024, so the single year above is approximate. The 124 homes come in seven plans from 614-square-foot one-bedrooms and one-bedroom-and-dens to two-bedrooms of 871 to 910 square feet, with nine-foot ceilings, air conditioning, Whirlpool appliances, in-suite front-load laundry and quartz counters, priced from about $400,000 under Langford's attainable home ownership programme.
Parking is a surface lot with one EV-ready stall per home, with a ground-level bike room and a storage locker on each floor, and the shared amenities include a weight room, cardio area, yoga room, office space and a lounge. The Ed Nixon Trail along the lake, Starlight Stadium and the Westhills YMCA are close, and the 2-5-10 warranty runs.
