Concert Properties completed this 157 unit, 16 storey high-rise in 2015 with everyone in mind. Set right in the downtown core, almost all amenities are within walking distance. This building combines the historic charrn of old Victoria with the sophistication of concrete and glass. Era was Concert Properties' seventh Victoria project, designed by Rafii Architects with Richard Henry Architect, and move-ins began in April 2015. The concrete tower carries a full rain-screen envelope and incorporates the heritage brick facade that stood on the site, which won Best Heritage Project in the commercial category at the 2015 CARE Awards; ground-level retail and a revitalized Millie's Lane run along the base. Display suites were furnished by BBA Design.
The building has a library, a recreation room and bike storage, and the strata fee covers building insurance, the caretaker, gas, hot water, water, garbage, management and the recreation facilities. One-bedroom suites of about 480 square feet are the entry point, with in-suite laundry, quartz counters, dual-flush fixtures and electric baseboard heat. One listing service dates the building to 2012, but Concert, strata records and the sales history all confirm 2015.
