About the building
The Pearl Residences is a contemporary 8-storey concrete and steel building located at 1628 Store Street in Victoria's historic Old Town. Completed in 2023 by Farmer Construction, the building features 133 units ranging from studios to spacious 3-bedroom homes, many offering views of the Upper Harbour. Residents enjoy modern amenities including a fitness center, a social lounge with a full kitchen, and a central location directly connected to the David Foster Harbour Pathway.
The Pearl Residences was developed by Triad Holdings with Farmer Construction as builder, D'Ambrosio Architecture + Urbanism as architect and Kimberly Williams Interiors on the suites, which were offered in light and dark palettes. The strata plan is EPP70042, and sources count either eight or nine storeys. Construction is steel and concrete with shingle, metal and brick accents, and the building carries a Travelers 2-5-10 warranty.
Homes have nine-foot ceilings, covered balconies, Low-E argon windows, heat-pump heating and cooling, quartz counters, stainless appliances, in-floor heat in the main or ensuite bath and soaker tubs in some plans. The building is wired for fibre. Residents share a fitness room, an amenity room with a kitchen, secured underground parking, a bike room and storage lockers behind fob entry. One-bedroom suites of under 500 square feet are the entry point; listings describe the building as pet-friendly. Store Street puts Chinatown, Market Square and the Johnson Street Bridge within a two-minute walk.
