Built in 1984, the complex features 44 units and has undergone significant recent updates, including a new roof in 2025 and updated balconies. Residents enjoy a highly walkable lifestyle with a Walk Score of 94, offering easy access to local cafes, theaters, and parks, as well as amenities like secure underground parking, bike storage, and common laundry on every floor.
About Hillside
Hillside is the MLS name for Victoria's Hillside-Quadra neighbourhood, the area between Tolmie Avenue, Blanshard Street, Bay Street and Cook Street. Despite the name, Hillside Shopping Centre sits just east of the line in Oaklands and Mayfair Shopping Centre is just west in Burnside; both are within walking distance, which is why listings often mention them. The neighbourhood was farmland until the end of the nineteenth century and is still mostly ground-oriented housing, with apartment and condominium buildings concentrated along Quadra Street, Hillside Avenue and Blanshard.
Quadra Village, around Quadra and Hillside, is the commercial heart, with grocery stores, cafés and restaurants, and the City's plan designates it a large urban village. Topaz Park is the citywide sports park, Summit Park protects a hilltop Garry oak meadow with views over the city, and there are about 43 acres of parkland in total. Quadra Elementary, Cloverdale Traditional and S.J. Willis are the schools. Routes 4, 6 and 9 run along Hillside, Quadra and Cook to downtown, Royal Oak and UVic, downtown is a ten-minute ride, and the airport is about half an hour. The City expects mixed-income redevelopment of the Quadra West sites, including Evergreen Terrace and the former Blanshard School.
